The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed the economic and social landscape of emerging nations. Digital ecosystems, comprising interconnected stakeholders, digital infrastructure, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and mobile technologies, have become significant drivers of sustainable economic development, innovation, and public service delivery. Emerging economies increasingly leverage digital ecosystems to enhance industrial productivity, improve governance, strengthen financial inclusion, and promote entrepreneurship despite infrastructural and policy challenges. This paper investigates the evolution of digital ecosystems in emerging nations through an extensive literature review, methodological framework, and analytical discussion. The study further examines technological enablers, policy interventions, adoption barriers, and future opportunities for achieving inclusive digital transformation.
