Digital branding has emerged as a critical strategy for retail companies seeking international expansion and sustainable competitive advantage. Advances in internet technologies, social media, mobile commerce, cloud computing, and digital communication channels have transformed branding into a more interactive, customer-centric, and data-driven process. Through digital branding, retailers can enhance global brand visibility, customer engagement, and market reach without relying solely on traditional advertising or physical store presence. By utilizing digital marketing, social media platforms, search engine optimization, influencer collaborations, and content marketing, organizations can effectively communicate brand values, build trust, and foster customer loyalty across diverse markets. Digital branding also enables retailers to overcome cultural barriers, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate market adoption in new regions. This study examines the role of digital branding in supporting international retail expansion, focusing on digital identity creation, customer engagement, omnichannel integration, online reputation management, and data-driven marketing strategies. Based on a review of academic literature and industry practices, the findings indicate that digital branding significantly influences market entry success, customer retention, revenue growth, and global brand recognition. Furthermore, digital branding helps retailers understand consumer behavior, optimize marketing investments, and deliver personalized experiences. The study concludes that digital branding is a key driver of global retail growth and long-term business success, providing valuable insights for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers.
