Duties of Editors

  1. Publication Decisions

Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts meet the journal’s standards and should be published. Decisions are based on:

  • Editorial policies
  • Reviewer recommendations
  • Legal and ethical considerations
    Editors may consult other editors or reviewers to support decision-making.
  1. Fair Evaluation

Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly merit, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, political views, or personal background.

  1. Confidentiality

All submitted manuscripts are strictly confidential.
Information is shared only with:

  • Corresponding authors
  • Reviewers
  • Editorial advisers
  • WCRG publishing staff
    Editors must not use manuscript content for personal research without written permission.
  1. Disclosure & Conflicts of Interest

Editors must avoid handling manuscripts in which they have competing interests due to personal, professional, or financial connections.
Unpublished materials must not be used in the editor’s own research.

  1. Handling Ethical Concerns

Editors must act promptly when an ethical issue arises, such as:

  • Misconduct
  • Plagiarism
  • Data manipulation
  • Duplicate publication
    Actions may include correction notices, retractions, or expressions of concern.
