Digital Trade (DT) platforms have transformed global trade by integrating digital technologies, online marketplaces, payment systems, logistics networks, and data-driven processes. These platforms reduce transaction costs, improve market accessibility, enhance supply chain visibility, and enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in international trade. Technologies such as cloud computing, big data analytics, and electronic payment systems allow businesses to connect with global customers efficiently through B2B, B2C, and C2C marketplaces. Digital trade platforms facilitate information exchange, procurement, logistics coordination, and customer engagement while supporting transparent transactions and streamlined customs procedures. Secure payment gateways, digital contracts, and reputation systems further strengthen trust among trading partners. However, challenges including cybersecurity risks, regulatory uncertainties, digital divides, and privacy concerns remain significant. This study examines the impact of digital trade platforms on market access, operational efficiency, supply chain optimization, and business competitiveness using secondary data and comparative analysis. Findings reveal that digital trade platforms increase trade volumes, reduce costs, accelerate market entry, and improve customer reach. Businesses adopting these platforms demonstrate greater agility, innovation, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. The study concludes that digital trade platforms are essential drivers of modern international trade, and continued investment in digital infrastructure, regulatory harmonization, and technological innovation is necessary to maximize their economic benefits.
