The increasing complexity and competitiveness in project-based industries make effective client engagement a crucial factor for success. Central to this is the efficient management of resources—human, financial, and technical—which directly impacts the quality of client interaction, satisfaction, and project outcomes. This paper explores the resource management challenges faced by project-based firms in enhancing client engagement. It examines the key factors that hinder effective resource allocation, including resource shortages, over-utilization, and misalignment with client expectations. By analyzing real-world examples and best practices, this paper provides insights into strategies for overcoming these challenges, including the use of advanced technologies, improved communication, and staff training. Ultimately, the paper highlights the critical role of resource management in fostering long-term client relationships and achieving project success.
