Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines have become fundamental to modern software engineering by enabling rapid, reliable, and repeatable application delivery. However, increasing deployment velocity can introduce security vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and software quality risks when security and governance controls are treated as separate activities. This paper presents a secure and automated CI/CD pipeline framework that integrates security, compliance, quality assurance, and deployment automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle. The proposed approach incorporates automated source-code analysis, dependency and vulnerability scanning, infrastructure security validation, testing, policy enforcement, artifact verification, and controlled deployment mechanisms within the CI/CD workflow. Security and quality gates are applied at appropriate stages of the pipeline to identify potential risks before applications reach production environments. The framework also supports automated compliance validation and standardized deployment processes, reducing dependence on manual verification and improving consistency across development and operational environments. By integrating DevSecOps principles into continuous delivery, the proposed approach seeks to establish a balance between delivery speed, system reliability, security, and regulatory compliance. The framework provides an architectural foundation for organizations seeking to strengthen software supply-chain security, improve deployment quality, and achieve scalable and governed application delivery through automation.
