Duties of Authors
- Reporting Standards
Authors must present accurate, clear, and objective descriptions of their research.
Fraudulent or knowingly incorrect statements are unethical and unacceptable.
- Data Access & Retention
Authors should be ready to provide raw data for editorial inspection and, when appropriate, make such data publicly available.
Data should be retained for a reasonable period after publication.
- Originality & Plagiarism
Submitted work must be original.
When referring to others’ work, authors must properly cite, quote, and acknowledge all sources.
Plagiarism in any form is prohibited.
- Duplicate/Concurrent Submission
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
Such behavior is unethical and unacceptable.
- Acknowledgment of Sources
Authors must acknowledge the work of others that has influenced their research.
All citations must be accurate and complete.
- Authorship Criteria
Authorship is limited to individuals who have significantly contributed to:
- Conceptualization
- Design
- Execution
- Analysis
- Interpretation
All co-authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
- Human or Animal Subjects
For studies involving human or animal subjects, authors must ensure compliance with internationally recognized ethical standards and provide evidence of ethics committee approval.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose all financial or personal relationships that may influence the research outcomes.
All sources of funding must be clearly stated.
- Corrections & Retractions
If authors discover errors in their published work, they must notify the editor immediately and work with WCRG to correct or retract the article as appropriate.
