Digital technologies have significantly transformed cultural heritage preservation by shifting from traditional methods to digital repositories, virtual reconstructions, and interactive platforms. This paper explores how ICT tools such as cloud computing, AI, databases, and multimedia are used to document and preserve both tangible and intangible heritage, including endangered languages and traditions. It highlights the role of VR, AR, and 3D modeling in creating immersive cultural experiences and improving accessibility. However, challenges such as data authenticity, digital obsolescence, intellectual property issues, and the digital divide are also addressed, along with ethical concerns in digitizing indigenous heritage. The study emphasizes the need for standardized frameworks, sustainable digital practices, and collaborative efforts among stakeholders. Overall, it concludes that while technology offers powerful opportunities for cultural preservation, it must be applied responsibly to ensure long-term sustainability and cultural sensitivity
